Spotlight on Musical Instruments in the Eureka Pawn Shop

CRAIGSLIST 034It’s amazing how fast some of the musical gear we get in flies right back out our doors, so you never know what gems you might find on our shelves. We had an RP300A Artist Modeling Guitar Processor just recently and it sold fast, and we often get in several kinds of pedals that go quickly, too, like the Dan O Wah pedal.

You might not realize how much of a musical hotspot Humboldt County can be, and we love being able to provide the used musical instruments to the artists of our community. While we always have electric and acoustic guitars available, rock and country aren’t the only types of music you can play with the instruments you find in our pawn shop in Eureka. Woodwinds and brass instruments are often on our shelves as well, perfect for the musical student who wants to build his chops before spending a few thousand bucks on a high-end model.

Beautiful Instruments and Modern Gear

Some of the guitars we get in are beauties though, like the 1962 Melody Maker from Gibson pictured on the right. It’s a seriously awesome, rare guitar that we’re excited to see in stock.

If you live in Eureka, you might not think of going to the pawn shop first when you’re hunting for musical gear. But it really makes the most sense — you can save the most money when you buy from a pawn shop. Buying used costs less (though we sell some new instruments, too), and all the gear we sell is in good working order.

Unless you really need the newest, flashiest gadget for your guitar, buying used is a great option. Even if you want the latest gear, it’s worth calling or stopping by to see if we have it — we get such a wide range of gear in that we might have exactly what you’re looking for.
